Outreach Programs

Rapid Integrated Support & Engagement (RISE) is a program designed to support building bridges to treatment for individuals unable or unwilling to access help.

The RISE Program is offered by Ventura County Behavioral Health specifically to encourage and enable people in these situations to get assessment and treatment. The field-based outreach team makes contact, then provides ongoing support in navigating any challenges to accessing care.

If a person is experiencing a moderate or high-risk crisis – if their words or behaviors suggest they may harm themselves or others, or if they appear to be gravely disabled – Contact the Crisis Team at 1-866-998-2243, for immediate crisis support.

Law Enforcement Partnership Teams

RISE and local Law Enforcement agencies have partnered with the goal to support individuals in the community who have high calls for service and may be creating disturbances in the community. A RISE Community Service Coordinator and Law Enforcement Officer will work with individuals to assist in linkage to services and resources to reduce the number of calls to service, hospitalizations and/or incarcerations.

Logrando Bienestar/Achieving Wellness

Logrando Bienestar is an outreach program that provides education to the community to better understand the importance of emotional well-being. The Team serves youth, families, and adults by providing linkage to behavioral health services and resources.  The program is countywide, with an emphasis on the Latino community.
