Mobile Mental Health Program Services Request for Proposal (RFP)

‍Ventura County Behavioral Health (VCBH) is pleased to announce its intent to award the contract for the operation and management of the Mobile Mental Health Program Services (RFP # 113443) to Alinea Health. The RFP Evaluation Committee concluded that Alinea Health’s proposal demonstrated the highest degree of responsiveness to the requirements.

‍As provided in the VCBH Mobile Mental Health Program Services RFP, this Notification of Intent to Award is subject to execution of written contract and does not constitute the formation of contract between VCBH and the successful bidder. The successful bidder shall not acquire legal or equitable rights relative to the contracted services until a contract is executed that contains acceptable terms and conditions between VCBH and the successful bidder. If VCBH fails to successfully negotiate and execute a contract with the successful bidder, VCBH may revoke the award and commence negotiations with the next highest ranked bidder. VCBH reserves the right to cancel this Notification of Intent to Award at any time prior to the execution of a written contract or to withdraw the RFP entirely. County Board of Supervisor’s approval is required for all contracts that exceed $200,000.

Request for Proposal: Mobile Mental Health Program

Notice is hereby given that Ventura County Behavioral Health has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) on February 2, 2024 for qualified applicants to solicit proposals to deliver brief, walk-in style mobile mental health therapy sessions for one or more of the following efforts:

  1. Mental health sessions
  2. Substance use services
  3. Peer support
  4. Injections or prescription of psychiatric medications
  5. Prevention screenings and testing of health factors
  6. Diabetes and hypertension monitoring

Notice is hereby given that Ventura County Behavioral Health (VCBH) has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) on August 11, 2023 for qualified applicants to solicit proposals to provide Driving Under the Influence (DUI) Program Services. DUI programs are education and counseling programs licensed by the State of California and mandated for persons convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or other drugs. VCBH will endorse selected DUI applicant(s) to the California Department of Healthcare Services (DHCS). After Licensure by the DHCS, VCBH will contract with the selected DUI program provider(s) by contract.
