Health Care for All

Health Care for All (HCFA) helps Ventura County families access health care services by helping them apply for health coverage. Our trained Certified Application Assistors help individuals at no charge, apply for Medi-Cal, Covered California and other low-cost insurance programs. We make the insurance enrollment and renewal process easier to access and understand. This program is funded through Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health (MCAH).

ALL CHILDREN (0-18) AND YOUNG ADULT MEDI-CAL EXPANSION PROGRAM (AGES 19-26)
All Children and Young Adult Medi-Cal Expansion Program provides youth (0-18) and young adults ages 19-26 with Medi-Cal Coverage regardless of legal/immigration status as long as they meet income eligibility requirements. If your child is 0-26 years of age, they are eligible for health coverage. Children/young adults may also be enrolled in CHDP or CCS.

OLDER ADULT EXPANSION (AGES 50 AND OLDER)
As of May 1, 2022, California law gave access to full-scope Medi–Cal to adults 50 years of age or older, regardless of immigration status. All other Medi-Cal eligibility rules, including income limits, will still apply.

ADULT EXPANISION (AGES 26-49)
Beginning January 1, 2024, a new law in California will allow adults ages 26 through 49 to qualify for full-scope Medi-Cal, regardless of immigration status. All other Medi-Cal eligibility rules, including income limits, will still apply.
