To be the healthiest county in the nation. Our vision statement defines what we want to achieve. It provides guidance and direction in fulfilling our mission.
Who We Serve
Public Health works with and supports community-based organizations and healthcare providers, particularly communities identified as having greater health disparities and reduced access to care, to improve health outcomes.

- Assess and monitor population health status, factors that influence health, and community needs and assets
- Investigate, diagnose, and address health problems and hazards affecting the population
- Communicate effectively to inform and educate people about health, factors that influence it, and how to improve it

- Create, champion, and implement policies, plans, and laws that impact health
