Coalitions and Partnerships
The Breastfeeding Coalition of Ventura County is a non profit 501c3 corporation, comprised of health care providers, community leaders, policy makers, and parents, as well as public and private organizations with the common goal of promoting and supporting breastfeeding as the culture norm in Ventura County.
The Ventura County Health Care Coalition (VCHCC) is a collaborative network of healthcare organizations and their respective public and private sector response partners within our Operational Area. VCHCC serves as a voluntary multidisciplinary, multi-agency group that assists in the coordination of Emergency Management and Emergency Support Function with preparedness, response, recovery and mitigation activities.
The Partnership for a Healthy Ventura County (PHVC) is a partnership driven network that includes representatives from Ventura County Public Health, community organizations, direct health service providers, food security organizations, schools, local area businesses, and government agencies. We come together to share resources and promote policies and services for the sake of a healthy Ventura County.
Safe Kids Ventura County, in partnership with Ventura County Fire Department, provides caregivers and professionals transporting children with car seat education on the proper use and installation of child safety seats.
