Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention

Our Mission
To increase awareness about lead poisoning in children through increased health education, community outreach, and advocacy for timely lead screenings for children in our community.

The Ventura County Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program (CLPPP) offers outreach and education about lead poisoning. It also provides nurse case management for children with lead poisoning. Lead poisoning can be harmful and negatively affect a child’s development.

We also offer community group presentations on childhood lead poisoning prevention. Contact Ventura County CLPPP at (805) 981-5291 for more information.
