Child Injury Prevention Program
We provide information and education to the community on preventing unintentional injuries to children. Education and resources can be provided on topics such as home safety, pedestrian safety, wheeled sports safety, drowning prevention, child passenger safety and others.
Safe Kids Ventura County
Safe Kids Ventura County is a member of Safe Kids Worldwide, a global network of organizations dedicated to preventing unintentional injuries to children. Ventura County Public Health is the lead organization for Safe Kids Ventura County. Our local coalition is a diverse group of community partners with a common goal of working together to improve childhood safety in our County. We serve as a local resource for childhood injury prevention programs, initiatives, and materials.
