We develop partnerships to educate, train and deploy citizen volunteers, including health care professionals (active and retired), in case of a large-scale local emergency.
We enlist citizen volunteers to form an organized group who will support Emergency and Medical Management Systems during major emergencies. About 200 of your neighbors have registered and are being trained for possible deployment during flu seasons. Our group includes current and retired doctors, nurses, EMTs, paramedics, school nurses and an epidemiologist. But more than that, the MRC includes people from all walks of life and professions who can use their skills and talents to help in health-related emergencies.
