Ventura County Alcohol and Drug Advisory Board
The Ventura County Alcohol and Drug Advisory Board (ADAB) was first established in the 1970's. State law allows local counties the option of creating an ADAB. The Ventura County Board of Supervisors has believed since the early 1970's that it is important to have such a citizen advisory body. The ADAB is an 18-person panel appointed by the Ventura County Board of Supervisors. The ADAB advises the Board of Supervisors on the County's needs and problems where alcohol and drugs are concerned.
