The main Camarillo shelter is staffed 24 hours per day. Kennel staff, emergency field officers and dispatchers are on duty at all times. Evening assistance is available to turn in animals or to provide bite information.
Visit the Camarillo Shelter or the Simi Valley Shelter during regular operation hours listed below to reclaim, adopt, or shop for an animal. Animal license services are provided at both shelters during the "Licensing Only" hours listed below.
The Shelter will be closed Monday, May 27th in observance of Memorial Day.

We stop showing animals half an hour before closing.
Our Field Services
Our field officers are on duty 24 hours per day, 365 days a year. Should you need the assistance of an officer in the late evening or very early morning, you can call the shelter's normal number, 805-388-4341 or 888-223-PETS (7387) and proceed through the voicemail menu. One of your choices will direct a message to the officer on duty.
