  • As of 7/9/2019: While our neighboring Counties, Los Angeles and Santa Barbara have experienced multiple cases of measles, we do not have any measles cases in Ventura County. Two recent measles investigations from Santa Barbara County with ties to Ventura County were completed. There are no current cases of measles in Ventura County

Vaccination continues to be the best way to prevent measles infections. Make sure to review your vaccination history or immunity with your provider. Adults who do not have evidence of immunity should get at least one dose of MMR vaccine.
